Projects/Gallery

This was a commercial rooftop installation. A crane had to be used to lift the new unit onto the roof.

New furnace installation

A few before and after pictures from different installations.

This project was a replacement and re-piping of a hot water tank and boiler system relocation to add space.

We installed a new mini-split system with multiple heads. The old central air unit was removed and replaced with a better high-efficiency system.

We can install new commercial rooftops including a new duct system to fulfill your needs.

Indoor Air Quality

To give you an insight into what this means, we provided you with a quick and easy explanation. There are three kinds of air pollutants:

Large Particulate Matter

This is essentially dust or airborne debris that you have to wipe off your TV or any other surfaces every couple of days. These are as small as 1 micron. (The pointy tip of a pin is approximately 10 microns.) Larger particulates can end up in your ductwork and get caught up by your air filter.

2

Microscopic Particulate Matter

You can’t generally see these kinds of particulates. These carry viruses, allergens, and bacteria (i.e. mold spores and fungus). In general, the hazardous types are as small as 0.3 microns.

Airborne Chemical Pollutants

These are particles that you can’t see them but can smell and breathe them in. VOC's are the chemicals in the air you equate to odors (i.e, wet dog, dirty garbage). The smell can be pleasant or bad. It’s good to note that if your air were clean, you wouldn’t be able to smell them. They are, in some cases, toxic chemicals that we breathe every day. (These are the particles that are smaller than 0.1 microns.)

Cleaning Solution

Aside from this, air purifiers put a zinc solution in your air that sanitizes the room. This is a proven cleaning method that can get rid of smells, germs, and viruses and reduces particulates below 0.1 microns.

Air Quality Accessories

Humidifier

This humidifies air, making it more dense- With the help of this machine, you restrict the movement of dust and allergen particulates in the air, which helps with several health conditions. Also, by making your air more humid, you can have a more comfortable and warmer home.

Air Purifier

These items treat your air as it passes through your duct system. The most effective product is REME by RGF Industries. It puts ionized hydro peroxide into your air along with positive and negative ions, which causes the particles to clump together, making it easier for the filter to catch them. The LEDs have an industry leading 5 year warranty.

Air Cleaner

It is the filter in your furnace that catches and collects particulates out of your air before distributing it to the rest of your home. Different cleaners operate at various levels of catching ability called the MERV factor.

MERV
The light, airy, and stringy one-inch filter that is most commonly used and is the cheapest in the market would have a MERV rating of one to two. Those that are used in the hospitals usually have MERV ratings of 17 to 20. As for residential applications, we recommend MERV ratings of 8 to 16, depending on allergy level and desired effect. The filters are usually four inches thick and last up to three to six months per filter.
